This calendar is for the 12 hour classroom course, not the online course with skills sign-off. Seats are still available in all classes shown unless marked "FULL". Click on any date to see details, then enroll by completing the form to the left.

ACLS is for healthcare professionals who direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. Audience: Nurses, Hygienists, Pharmacists, Paramedics, Physicians etc.

This course includes discussion and practice of EKG rhythms, code medications, intubation, king airways, OPAs and NPAs, suction, use BVMs, needle decompression, defibrillation, pacing, cardioversion, administration of code meds IVP, gravity drip, IV pumps, EZ-IOs, CPR, rescue breathing, and the opportunity to lead an arrest.

This course is not appropriate for those not familiar with EKG rhythm analysis, pharmacology and anatomy and physiology. Please note that the CPR Central no longer offers shortened recertification course as recertification students often do not perform with the same competency as those who complete this class. Students are expected to read the ACLS manual, watch the available online videos, and complete the precourse assessment prior to class.

Doors open exactly at 8am. Do not enter the classroom before 8am as the instructor will be preparing the classroom. Students more than 15 minutes late will be required to reschedule and pay a $25 rescheduling fee. A no call no show will forfeit tuition. Course length is scheduled for 12 hours but may end sooner depending on attendance and experience of participants. Note that AHA has lengthened all ACLS courses since 2015 and even recertification courses are now approximately 9 hours. CPR Central offers this course in a single day format at the request of its corporate clients to reduce lost work days. This class covers all educational topic points but is taught at an accelerated pace with a working lunch and shortened breaks, and a smaller than average class size. Students will be given 20 minutes to obtain lunch and return. You may also bring food. We have a refrigerator and microwave and you can eat in the classroom. Please bring a sweater if you tend to be cold while sitting. You may bring a book or purchase one from us. If you can not afford a book, come to class anyway. We will do our best to accommodate you.

Online credit card payment is required to reserve your seat. Businesses may request company invoicing during sign-up. Reschedules within 72 hours of your start time will result in a $25 rescheduling fee. Refunds are not available within 72 hours prior to your class start time. Bring a $5 bill to take advantage of the AMBU Res-Q Key barrier device special. You'll need one to do real CPR safely.
